HypoxyCaps
Several cancers lead to tumors which can no longer be removed by surgery anymore due to how much they have invade, their location in the body, and how much extra risk it provides to the patient. Many of these cancers, like late stage liver cancer, have very poor survival rates because chemotherapy and radiation are not enough to take down those large tumors.
Using glucose as a power source, our enzyme-loaded microscopic capsules will deplete oxygen and glucose from the cancer immediately after injection. This is possible through our patented formulation that allows unprecedented quantities of enzymes to be stabilized within a microscale volume. The contents of HypoxyCaps are non-toxic and environmentally friendly, and biodegradable so they won’t stick around in the body longer than needed.
While standard embolization beads without enzymes are currently used to treat 40% of liver cancers, the addition of our enzymes to HypoxyCaps extend their effectiveness zone, providing high efficacy and longer survival.

Our pipeline
Our strategy focuses on harnessing the power of our HypoxyCaps without enzymes to enable passive starvation of liver tumors by clogging blood vessels within the tumor and creating embolisation.
Our key assets then build upon this passive starvation by adding our special enzymes that remove glucose and oxygen, adding activation starvation to the passive starvation
